ACGT Bike Rack Designs

The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo has done another great project for our city. If you’re out and about on Adams street, take a second to check out all the great bike racks, designed by some of Toledo’s creative ones, myself included.

I personally submitted designs a while back, and was pleasantly surprised when two of my bike rack layouts were chosen. It’s amazing to see them actually fabricated and in the streets. They started off as vector illustrations on the computer, but are now physical installments in Toledo. I’m really proud to be part of the select few artists on this project.

I’m posting a few photos here, these were all taken by Matt Rowland (You can see his quote bubble bike rack below). Thanks Matt for some nice quality images for me to use on the blog.

Also, please join us on May 16th at Manhattans from 5:00-6:30PM for a public reception to celebrate the new bike racks and all those who were involved with the project.

Great image by Matt Rowland, I hope this becomes a Toledo portrait trend. Send me any TOL portraits you take you crazy Toledoans

A few more shots of bike racks in the Uptown area. Matt Rowland, Michael McWhorter, and Anthony McCarty. Sorry if I didn’t post your bike rack design, they’re all great! stay in touch with The Arts Commission to see photos of all the designs. https://www.facebook.com/ArtsCommission

Thanks again to everyone involved in the bike rack project. Especially the ACGT. you all are awesome, it’s a pleasure to have something that I designed proudly displayed in my hometown.
